Yes, we recommend being in good physical shape, as these treks involve long hikes at high altitudes. Light training or short acclimatization hikes beforehand is highly advised.
All our tours include a professional guide, full meals, transportation, camping equipment (when applicable), and entrance to Machu Picchu. Some tours also include porters or pack horses.
You’ll need warm clothes, waterproof gear, good trekking shoes, a daypack, sunscreen, hat, headlamp, and personal documents. We’ll send you a detailed packing list after booking.
Yes, especially for Machu Picchu and Salkantay. Permits are limited per day and sell out quickly, especially during the high season (May to September).
Our guides are trained to assist with altitude sickness. We also carry oxygen and coca leaves. Spending at least 2 days in Cusco before the trek is highly recommended.
